‘Pokémon GO’ First Evolving with 80 New Gen 2 Pokemon Arriving this Week

Are you still trying to catch them all? Did you think you were getting close to catching them all? Well, Pokemon Go fans, we have good news and bad news. Niantic on Wednesday announced that the company is adding more than 80 new creatures. That means players around the world will have a horde of new Pokemon to track down and wrangle, injecting some new fun into the game that first swept the nation (and the entire world) early last summer. On the flip side, the news also means that hardcore Pokemon Go players who thought that they were getting close to catching them all now have a tremendous amount of new work to do.

New Pokemon Go Update

Apart from brand new Pokémon, another game update also introduces. These update such as new Evolution items, two new Berries, new encounter gameplay and expanded outfit options for their Trainer avatars have been added.

New Pokémon evolution options will give players the ability to use new Evolution items to evolve their Pokémon into ones that were originally discovered in the Johto region. While catching Pokémon, Trainers can use two new Berries & the Nanab Berry and the Pinap Berry. These berries will double the amount of Candy received if the next catch attempt succeeds.

Trainers will also be able to customize their avatar’s appearance with a wider selection of hats, shirts, pants, and other items. We’ve also been told that the Pokémon GO shop will have more items available as in-app purchases. Other than that, be on the lookout for the update later this week.

The new evolution options in Pokemon Go would allow players to evolve their captured Pokemon into new creatures being added to the game this week. On top of that, the game’s new Nanab Berry will slow a Pokémon’s movements. While the Pinap Berry will double the amount of candy received if the next catch attempt is successful.
